President Donald Trump announced on Thursday that he has fired Pam Bondi as Attorney General and said she will be transitioning to a “new job in the private sector.” Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, who once served as Trump’s personal defense lawyer during his hush money trial in New York, is set to replace her as acting attorney general.
